Viles beach (15’ walk, 5’ by car)
This little paradise is located on walking distance from the Blue Hill Villa.
If you prefer to take the car - just park on the road as there is no parking lot. Then you walk down a short and easy trail that leads to the beach. This beach has rocks where you can jump from. This is not an organized beach so a good idea is to bring an umbrella and a bottle of water with you. The locals call this beach Skarpidi.

Kiveri beach (5’ from Blue Hill 3km)
There are two beaches in Kiveri one is located just as you go downhill at the center of the village, this beach is organized so you can find everything from coffee, snacks, traditional Greek tavernas and you should try one of the fish tavernas with fresh fish and delicious seafood.
On this beach you can use any of the available sunbeds and umbrellas, you do not have to pay for the sunbed but you need to order something to drink from one of the waiters who will greet you.
If you want to explore the second beach just follow the way to the light house, this is a very small beach with stones but the water is very clear and deep.

Astros beach (15’ from Blue Hill 12km)
A very long 8 km beach which offers thick sand-pebbles and deep cool water.
This beach is organized with sunbeds but you may also stay under an eucalyptus tree for natural shade. In Paralio Astros you will find many bars and cafes and a great choice of taverns.
As further away from the town you go the beach get less crowded. Best spot on this beach is the area called “Portes” where the locals usually are only 3 minutes from the center by car There are also canteens for coffee, fizzy drinks and ice-creams.

Xiropigado beach (8’ from Blue Hill 4,5km)
This beach is located by the village of Xiropigado. This is the first village you meet when entering the area of Arcadia, the beach is large with coarse pebbles.
It is organized and you can get coffee or something else to drink from the nearby taverns. There is not so easy to find a parking here you can park either in the courtyard of the old school or near the pier.

Anavalos beach (4’ from Blue Hill 1,9km)
You can either walk from Blue Hill to this beach or you can take the car. There is usually no problem to find a parking space next to the beach. This is a quiet beach is located below a woman monastery of St.Makrina that started to be built in 1971.
Although the beach is not organized its worthwhile a visit as it offers sand, clean, clear water and is absolutely perfect for snorkeling.

Arvanitia Beach (20’ from Blue Hill 16km)
This beach is located below the Palamidi castle in Nafplio.
It is 200 m long but the water is clear and in fact awarded with a “Blue Flag” clean waters). This is an organized beach with umbrellas, sunbeds, shower, WC and of course services coffee, drinks and snacks. This is actually the favorite beach of the locals in Nafplio.
There is no problem to find a parking as there is plenty of space in front of the entrance and it is free of charge.
This beach is also a perfect location to visit during the evening as it has a great restaurant with International and Greek food. You can also just sit and enjoy the amazing view and take a drink at the bar.

Karathonas Beach (25’ from Blue Hill 20km)
This is another favorite beach of the locals in Nafplio.
This is a sandy beach with clean water also awarded with a “blue flag” (official sign for clean waters). It is perfect for younger children as you have to walk quite a bit in the water until it gets deep.
The location is absolutely beautiful with its palmtrees, eucalyptus trees spreading shadow However this beach gets busy during the summer as besides from swimming or relaxing on a sunbed there are many choices when it comes to beach bars and tavernas.
During the summer this beach also organize summer parties with barbeques and music.

Kryoneri Beach (33’ from Blue Hill 30km)
This is a fantastic beach with pebbles and crystal clean waters.
This is an organized beach with sunbeds , umbrellas and served by a tavern and a beach bar. It is located between two high beautiful mountain peaks and parking here is easy. If you are a sun lover a recommendation would be to visit this beach in the morning as the sun sets early behind the mountains.
